African Leadership Safari

A Trip of a Lifetime!

Our Leadership Safari is based out of Nairobi, Kenya.  We’ll be staying at the beautiful Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens while we explore some of the more diverse areas of Nairobi.  You’ll meet the women of the Global Bag Project who are sewing re-useable cloth grocery bags for sale back in the States and Canada in order to feed their families and put their children through school.  You’ll have the opportunity to  get to know and become friends with these amazing ladies and their families.  We’ll have time to visit some of their homes and get to know their stories–stories that, no doubt, will touch your heart and let you know how strong the human spirit is.  We’ll also visit an orphanage with over 300 children.  These are experiences you’ll remember for the rest of your life.After spending time in Nairobi, we’ll head to the breathtaking Great Rift Valley where we’ll spend a day with a certified instructor who will take us rock climbing, hiking through stunning rock gorges and even rappelling over a cliff.  You’ll walk away from this day with a sense of “Yes I can!”

Finally, we’ll fly across Kenya to the Masai Mara Game Preserve where we’ll lodge at a luxurious tented camp.  You won’t believe the beauty of this land!  You’ll experience the Mara at the height of the migration season when over a million Wildebeest are making their way through this area. From the Land Rover you’ll see lions, elephants, zebras, crocodiles, hippos, gazelles, warthogs, and so much more.  The birds are equally amazing. And let’s not forget the food. Throughout the trip you’ll experience delectable cuisine, along with equally delicious desserts.  Plus, while on safari, the Massai warriors will perform ancient tribal dances for the group.

The memories made in Africa will last a lifetime!  For years to come, you’ll find yourself thinking of Africa’s warm and gracious people and all the amazing wildlife you experienced.  If you’ve ever dreamed of Africa, now is your time to visit!  This is a trip unlike any other.
